Accessing Your Connections Bank Online Banking Platform

Accessing your Connections Bank accounts online is now simpler than ever. Whether you are a first-time user or transitioning to our updated system, this guide will walk you through accessing your accounts via the web portal at www.connections.bank and our new mobile banking app. If you are a current mobile app user, you will be prompted to update to the latest version for seamless access.

First-Time Login Instructions for Online Banking

For your initial login to the Connections Bank ‘Click’ Online Banking platform, please follow these straightforward steps:

  1. Username: Retain your existing Username/User ID/Alias. Enter your current Username in the designated field.
  2. Password: For the initial login, your password will be the last 4 digits of your Social Security Number (SSN). Business Customers should use the last 4 digits of their Tax ID Number.
  3. Identity Verification: As a crucial security measure, you will complete identity verification. Follow the on-screen prompts to receive a 6-digit security code via your chosen method: email, automated phone call, or SMS text message. You have the option to mark your device as “trusted” to bypass this step in future logins for added convenience.
  4. Update Credentials: Once logged in, you can personalize your login experience by updating your Username/User ID/Alias if you wish and creating a new, secure password.
  5. Agreement Acceptance: You will be prompted to review and accept the Online Banking Agreement and eSign Disclosure. It is essential to click and open the PDF document to activate the acceptance toggle button. Click the button to confirm your agreement.
  6. Account Selection: Upon successful agreement, your account list will be displayed. Simply select the account you wish to view to begin managing your finances online.

Enhanced Security with Identity Verification

Connections Bank prioritizes the security of your financial information. To bolster your account protection, we have implemented an “Out of Band Authentication” security protocol. Each time you log in, you will be required to enter a unique 6-digit security code. You can choose to receive this code via email, automated call, or text message. If your preferred contact method is not listed, please contact your local Connections Bank branch to update your contact details. Important Note: While your password does not expire, we encourage you to change it periodically for optimal security.

For streamlined future access, you can designate your personal computer, phone, or tablet as a “trusted device,” up to a maximum of 5 devices. By trusting a device, you will bypass the identity verification step on subsequent logins from that device. Please remember that clearing your browser cookies will require you to complete the identity verification process again.

Managing Your Login Credentials

When updating your password and/or Username, please adhere to the on-screen requirements to ensure they meet our security standards. If your previous password and/or Username already meet these requirements, you have the option to retain the same credentials for the new online banking platform, ensuring a smooth transition.

Accessing the Mobile Banking App

Connections Bank offers a dedicated Mobile Banking app for both iPhone and Android devices. If you are a current mobile banking app user, you will need to download our new, enhanced mobile app. You can easily find direct download links at the top of the Connections Bank website homepage for quick access to the correct app for your device.

Biometric Login for Mobile App Users

For an even faster and more secure login experience on the mobile app, Connections Bank offers biometric authentication. You can enable login using facial recognition (Face ID) or fingerprint recognition (Touch ID) on compatible devices. During your first login to the Mobile Banking app, you will be prompted to “Save Login” to enable this feature. If you prefer not to use biometric login, you can easily disable this prompt within the app’s Information Settings menu at any time.
