Navigating First Bank Online: Secure Login from Any Location

As part of First Bank’s commitment to enhanced security, accessing your online banking now includes a robust identity validation process. This ensures that your financial information remains protected, no matter where you are accessing your account from. Whether you are at one of our convenient First Bank Locations or managing your finances remotely, we prioritize your security.

To begin, enter your User ID on the login page and proceed by clicking “Login”. You will then be guided to subsequent pages where you will be prompted to enter your Password. Following this, the system will initiate the identity validation process to ensure secure access to your account. This multi-layered security approach is designed to safeguard your information in today’s digital landscape.

To validate your identity and have the option to register your computer for quicker access in the future, you will need to receive and enter a Secure Access Code. This code acts as a temporary key, adding an extra layer of protection to your online banking sessions, especially when accessing your account from various locations.

You have the flexibility to choose how you receive your Secure Access Code. Select your preferred delivery method – either a phone call or a text message to a number registered within First Bancorp’s Online Banking system – and click “Continue”.

You should receive your Secure Access Code almost instantly. Remember that Secure Access Codes are valid for 30 minutes and are for single use only. It’s important to understand that these Secure Access Codes are not your password but an additional security measure for each login session. If you happen to notice phone numbers that are unfamiliar to you, please immediately contact Customer Service at 866-792-4357 for assistance.

Finally, you have the option to register the computer you are currently using. This feature streamlines future logins from your regular devices, offering convenience without compromising security.

  • Activate this computer for later use. Choose this option for personal computers that you frequently use to access your First Bank account.
  • Give me one-time access only, do not activate this computer. Select this option when using public computers at locations such as libraries or any computer you do not intend to use regularly for online banking.

*Please note that for security reasons, even if you have previously registered a computer, there might be occasions where you will be required to register it again. This is part of our ongoing efforts to protect your account and maintain the highest security standards across all access points, including first bank locations and remote access.
