Their wedding day unfolded exactly as they dreamed – a joyful gathering of loved ones, delicious cuisine, and unforgettable moments.

Working alongside Cassandra Shah Flowers & Events was a highlight of the day. Cassandra and her team transformed Teak Rooftop into an enchanting reception space. The breathtaking flower wall served as an idyllic photo backdrop, while the suspended floral centerpieces above each table added a touch of whimsical elegance. Every detail was meticulously crafted, creating a visually stunning and joyous atmosphere to capture.
Family played a central role in Suzanne and Aurelio’s wedding, and their day beautifully reflected this priority. Suzanne’s daughter, Lily, was an adorable flower girl, and the heartwarming moment of Suzanne being escorted down the aisle by both her father and son, Dylan, was truly special. Later, their first dance transitioned into a family dance with Lily and Dylan joining in, creating some of the most cherished photographs of the day.

Suzanne and Aurelio’s paths first crossed about four and a half years prior to their wedding at a local Red Bank bar and restaurant. Casual greetings turned into something deeper a year later when both found themselves newly single. They discovered shared passions for food, wine, and travel, and a connection that blossomed quickly. As Suzanne recounted, “We started to run into each other more and more, and found that our personalities and love of food, wine and travel was identical. We haven’t spent a day without each other ever since.” Aurelio’s warm embrace of Suzanne’s children, Dylan and Lily, further solidified their bond. Suzanne described Aurelio as her “unicorn,” having never been married nor having children before. It was clear that their wedding day was not just about uniting two individuals, but about celebrating a growing, loving family.

The proposal story is just as heartwarming. While the couple had already set their wedding date at Teak, the official engagement was a surprise during a trip to Aruba. Suzanne recalled, “We set our date at Teak a few months before the actual engagement, but that didn’t take away from the moment… On our first day there, the hotel upgraded us to the Presidential Suite, and it was insane… After drinks and a half day at the beach, we went up to relax and unwind. He poured me a glass of my favorite Sauvignon Blanc and I went out to a lounge area outside with my kids. He came out and knelt down with the ring and asked me to marry him in front of the kids. I have never been so happy! Lily still talks about it!” Having their children present for such a significant moment created a lasting memory for their family.
When asked about what they cherish most about each other, Aurelio praised Suzanne’s caring nature, “How Suzanne takes care of all of us!” Suzanne lovingly responded, “How much Aurelio loves me, and how much he supports me and the kids.”
