According to reports from Deadline and the Charleston County Sheriff’s Office, the incident occurred in the early hours of Tuesday, July 5th, between 2:30 and 3:00 a.m. Jennings was walking along Sol Legare Road in Charleston when he was struck by two separate vehicles. Authorities stated that the first vehicle hit Jennings and fled the scene. Subsequently, a second vehicle also struck him and similarly left the location. While the driver of the second vehicle was later apprehended during a traffic stop, investigations are ongoing, and no charges have been filed yet in connection to the Alexander Jennings Outer Banks accident.
