Standard mobile service provider fees may apply. You can manage your contact information and communication preferences by visiting a branch, online, or by phone.

Security and User Responsibility

The security of your User ID and Password is paramount. Remember, anyone with this information can access your City National Bank WV account. This agreement becomes effective and legally binding when you use your User ID and Password to access City National Bank WV’s internet banking services. No physical signature is required.

Funds Transfer Agreement

Currently, eDocs is a free service, but City National Bank WV may introduce or change fees with 30 days’ notice. You are responsible for losses due to unauthorized eDocs access through your computer or compromised information, except for losses solely due to City National Bank WV’s negligence. To use eDocs, you must be a City National Bank WV Online Banking user with a deposit or loan account and have Adobe Acrobat Reader® (version 6.0 or higher). Ensure your email address is updated in Online Banking to receive statement notifications. Statements are delivered as secure PDFs using 128-bit SSL encryption after you log in with your Online Banking ID and Password. City National Bank WV will never ask for your password. Statements are available online for 18 months. You can choose to include check images with your e-statements.

Termination

You can terminate eDocs through your Online Banking settings. City National Bank WV may also terminate eDocs service with 30 days’ written notice.

Liability and Amendments

You are responsible for the security of your PIN and for payment requests you make, including errors or duplicates. City National Bank WV is not liable for payments not made due to incorrect instructions or if you fail to notify us promptly of payment issues. City National Bank WV can amend this agreement with notice.

Termination

City National Bank WV can terminate the Bill Pay Agreement at any time. You can also terminate with written notice. You remain responsible for payments made on your behalf.

Mobile Banking Agreement

This agreement governs your use of City National Bank WV’s Mobile Internet Banking service.

Service and Access

City National Bank WV strives to provide continuous mobile banking access but service interruptions may occur for maintenance or due to external factors. We do not guarantee uninterrupted service and may discontinue the service with reasonable notice. You are responsible for your own hardware, software, and wireless service charges. City National Bank WV does not guarantee service functionality on all wireless devices.

Security

City National Bank WV employs security measures to protect the Mobile Banking Service, but no system is entirely failsafe. You will be notified of security breaches as legally required. City National Bank WV reserves the right to take action to protect systems, including denying user access.

Deposit Agreement, Viruses, and Liability

Your accounts accessed via Mobile Banking are subject to your deposit agreement and the general internet banking terms. City National Bank WV is not responsible for viruses encountered through mobile banking and recommends using antivirus software. Liability limitations and arbitration clauses from the Internet Banking Agreement also apply to Mobile Banking.

Mobile Deposit Agreement

This agreement outlines the terms for using City National Bank WV’s Mobile Deposit service, allowing you to deposit checks remotely.

Services and Acceptance

The Mobile Deposit service allows check deposits via scanned images from remote locations. Using the service constitutes acceptance of this agreement, which may be updated periodically. Continued use after changes signifies your agreement to the revised terms.

You are responsible for fees and authorize City National Bank WV to deduct them from your account. You agree to deposit only “checks” as defined by Reg. CC and not ineligible items such as checks payable to others, altered or fraudulent checks, third-party checks, foreign checks, stale-dated checks (over 6 months old), and others listed in the full agreement.

Endorsements, Receipt of Items and Funds Availability

Endorse checks “For mobile deposit only, account #______” or as instructed by City National Bank WV. City National Bank WV reserves the right to reject any item. An email confirmation indicates image receipt but not necessarily acceptance for deposit. Funds deposited via Mobile Deposit are generally available on the second business day after the deposit day (if received before 8:00 PM ET on a business day).

Disposal of Checks, Deposit Limits and Errors

Retain deposited checks for 30 days after confirmation, then destroy them. Current deposit limits are $2,500 daily and $10,000 monthly, with daily and monthly item limits (subject to change). Notify City National Bank WV of errors within 30 days of your statement.

Warranties, Indemnification, and Termination

You warrant that you will only deposit eligible items, not duplicate or re-present items, and that all information is accurate. You agree to indemnify City National Bank WV for breaches of warranty. City National Bank WV may terminate this agreement at any time.
