Understanding the Transition for Lakeland Bank Login Users

A key aspect of this transition is the handling of Bill Pay services. Your existing payee information, including names, account numbers, and addresses, has been automatically transferred to ProvidentConnect. For security purposes, account numbers may be truncated to 25 characters within the new system. You’ll also find your bill payment history available from September 9th onwards. Any future-dated or recurring payments you had scheduled with Lakeland Bank have also been carried over to ProvidentConnect.

It’s important to note a few key changes regarding online bill payments within ProvidentConnect. With ProvidentConnect Bill Pay, funds for electronic payments will be deducted from your account at the time the payment is initiated. The system has transaction limits in place, with a maximum transaction amount of $9,999.99 and a cumulative daily transaction limit of $19,999.99 for business days.

Please be aware that bill payment history for canceled payments or payments to payees you’ve previously deleted were not transferred to your ProvidentConnect Bill Pay history. Additionally, the new system requires sufficient funds to be available in your account when a bill payment is initiated. If funds are insufficient, the payment will be canceled, and you will receive an email notification about the failed transaction.

For bill payments scheduled between Friday, August 30th, and Friday, September 6th, these were processed but were not initially accessible online. If you needed to make changes to these payments during that period, you were advised to contact the Customer Care Center.

Within ProvidentConnect Online Banking, the account you used most frequently for Bill Pay at Lakeland Bank has been set as your default payment account for Bill Pay at Provident Bank. If you wish to schedule a Bill Pay payment from a different account, you can easily select an alternative account when scheduling your payment on or after September 3rd. To change your default Bill Pay account permanently, you can navigate to “Manage Funding Account(s)” within ProvidentConnect Bill Pay or contact the Customer Care Center for assistance.
