This foundational knowledge was further enhanced when he transitioned to Main Street Homes, a prominent C&F Bank client and leading home builder in Richmond. At Main Street Homes, Matt honed his skills in land acquisition and financing, directly sourcing finished lot inventory and raw land for development projects. His responsibilities extended to capital structure assessment for land deals, collaborating with banks for debt financing and engaging private investors for equity raising. Crucially, he conducted market feasibility studies and financial modeling, providing economic due diligence for land acquisitions.
Returning to C&F Bank in March 2014 as a Senior Relationship Manager, Matt brought back a wealth of practical, client-side experience.
